Difference Premium and Premium Plus
Calendar Clock devices are designed to be fully controllable remotely. For this reason, subscriptions are purchased and managed through the Administrator app, not on the Calendar Clock devices themselves.
Premium
The Premium subscription is purchased for one Administrator app on one device.
That Administrator:
- Unlocks all Premium features
- Can use those features on all Calendar Clock devices they connect to
This subscription is intended for situations where one person manages and controls the Calendar Clock, and pricing is designed accordingly.
Premium Plus
If multiple people manage or control the same Calendar Clock devices, Premium Plus is the better option.
With Premium Plus:
- The subscription is still purchased by one Administrator
- All other Administrators who connect to the same Calendar Clock devices can also use Premium features
Example: Premium vs. Premium Plus
Bob purchases a Premium subscription on his Administrator app and connects to his mother’s Calendar Clock devices, one in the living room and one in the bedroom.
With this single Premium subscription:
- Bob can video call both devices
- No additional subscription is required for multiple devices
Bob’s sister, Alice, also wants to video call their mother. However, Alice does not have a subscription and therefore she cannot use Premium features.
Bob decides to upgrade to Premium Plus.
Now, with Bob’s Premium Plus subscription Alice can also video call the Calendar Clock devices in the living room and bedroom
Later, Alice installs a Calendar Clock in her son’s bedroom and connects to it. She notices that she cannot use Premium features on that device.
Only after Bob also connects to her son’s device does Alice gain access to Premium features for that Calendar Clock.
