How to connect an online calendar to Calendar Clock
You can connect your online calendar to Calendar Clock. This will make sure that Calendar Clock is always in sync with your online calendar. This article provides guidance on how to connect your Google Calendar and iCloud Calendar to Calendar Clock.
- Google Calendar
- iCloud Calendar
- Outlook Calendar
- Other calendar providers are also supported. Search online yourself for documentation on how to generate a (secret) link to your agenda.
General remarks
Not all Calendar Clock features are supported whilst using external calendars. These are:
- Icons;
- Images;
- Alarms;
- Tasks.
If possible, it is therefore recommended to perform a one-time export of all calendar events in the external calendar and import them into the Administrator app, using the option "Import agenda from iCal file" in the Synchronize settings. After that import, you can then update these messages or create new messages via the Administrator app.
At most one external calendar can be connected per Calendar Clock. If you want to connect multiple external calendars, then you have two options:
- Merge the calendars into one;
- Export all but one of the calendars into ics files and one-time import these into the Administrator app in the Synchronize page and use the Administrator app for all other messages.
